ATHENS, CITY UNKNOWN
OLD FOLKS AT HOME
TOO LAZY FOR A SONGATHENS
Tuesday early morning
1 THAT FLOW
The weather is not cold with us so far,
thank goodness for small mercies that you send,
I have not touched for two months my guitar,
it's like a summer mood that came and went.
An absent-minded music summer mood,
return to your routine, I wish I could.
But Christmas is too near, just a week,
and every hour is spend on daily cares,
I wrote a song or two, kind of a freak,
as if it was one of my affairs.
Affairs are changing as per human need,
I take a break to smoke some of that weed.
After my smoke I go for a short walk,
it's damp, it's wet, it rained a while ago,
I share with the kiosk man a weather joke,
I'll get my music thoughts in this smooth flow.
That flow that enlists your every face,
maybe is rich, maybe a hopeless case.
