BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT
The people who remember me,
remember me with you,
to them still seems so natural,
that gold, that red, that blue.
Refrain
If our true colours I could ware,
I'd ware them just for you,
once more again I would declare,
that life was more than true.
The people who remember us,
they ask me how you are,
I just reply that you are fine,
and hide that you are far.
Refrain
If my true colours I could ware,
I could have brought you near,
if not for love, then to compare,
feelings confused or clear.
The people who remember us,
keep asking when you'll come,
I say, “soon”, hopping, never more,
you will disturb my calm.
Refrain
When my true colours I will ware,
the truth that will come out,
will clarify what was unfair,
beyond reasonable doubt.
